From Origin to Coast

We believe great coffee doesn’t begin at the roastery, it begins on a hillside, shaped by the people who care for it. This spring season, that story starts in high Andes of Cusco, Peru, with the Orígenes Women’s Group: a collective of farmers building something bigger than their harvest. Through shared knowledge and careful processing, they’ve developed a coffee that’s structured, expressive, and rooted in intention—each step reflecting both craft and ownership.

Closer to home, that same sense of intention shows up through our partnership with Un Mar de Colores. Based here in North County, they create access to the ocean through surf therapy, environmental education, and mentorship—opening doors for youth.

Un Mar is rooted in the idea that the ocean should be for everyone. By combining surf access with mentorship and environmental education, they’re creating space for young people to build confidence, find community, and see themselves reflected in places they haven’t always felt welcome. It’s impact that goes beyond a single day at the beach—it stays with them.

The Colores Blend brings these two stories into the same cup. Coffee sourced from women producers in Peru, roasted here in Oceanside, and tied directly to impact in our own community. It’s a reminder that what we drink every day can reach further—connecting origin to coast, and people to impact. A purchase that flows back to San Diego youth programs and Peruvian women farmers in the same pour.
