This fall, we sought a coffee that felt fresh and interesting, while making a warm and familiar cup. Our roasting team sourced a pair of perfect autumn coffees, arriving to us from Ethiopia + Sumatra.
The main component is from Ethiopia, a washed processed coffee from the recognized Mulish Washing Station in the Guji zone of Ethiopia. It is paired with a Sumatran crop that undergoes the wet hulled process, which is unique to the Gayo highlands where this coffee is grown.
This cup showcases notes of cardamom, cola, and tamarind with a nice bright orange acidity. Balanced and expressive, this coffee performs great as a pour over, fall espresso, or AeroPress, offering a full bodied yet refined cup that's sure to make you a happy camper.
